About Us

Artistic roller skating is an exciting and graceful sport which challenges people of all ages to develop their strength and endurance to compete in a range of disciplines.

Logan City Skate Around (LCSA) is an artistic roller skating club based in the Logan region in South East Queensland. The club encourages all skaters to develop their roller skating skills and teaches Learn to Skate based on the nationally accredited Skate Stars program. At Logan City Skate Around, skaters are able to apply their skating skills to a range of artistic skating disciplines including dance, figures, freedance, freeskating and precision.

The coaches at Logan City Skate Around have prepared skaters to an elite level in all artistic roller skating disciplines and regularly have club members competing at the Artistic State, Australian and Oceania Championships. Our skaters also achieve high placing at local competitions throughout the year.

The club is affiliated with both Skate Queensland and Skate Australia. It is run by an accredited and experienced head coach who can provide advice to skaters who pass Skate Stars and who wish to continue developing their skills in competitive artistic skating.

Mission Statement

Logan City Skate Around actively fosters artistic roller skating as we believe it develops self-esteem, confidence, concentration and thinking skills, teamwork, positive communication, socialisation skills and self discipline. Our club caters for skaters of all ages to participate at various skill levels in a friendly, supported environment.
